Hospital and SK Telecom has
signed a contract with Ministry of national Guard in the next two years, will
build a 206.508698 million Saudi riyals system that will cover six hospitals and 3,000-bed for the Ministry of National Guard
in Saudi Arabia. BESTCare is computerized system that controls the whole
management hospital. The system deals with information ranges from prescriptions
of patients, medical records and medical imaging devices such as CTs and MRIs.
The system also manages outpatients and hospital staff such as admissions and
discharges(AD) from the hospital, personnel management, the management of
treatment charges and payment management of hospital workers, feeding
facilities and the management of hospital equipment and medical devices. To establish
such a system requires huge expertise and technology in terms of office
automation and management information systems.
